I finally made that Buttermilk Pound Cake that I previously blogged about wanting to make over a month or two ago. Turned out pretty scrumptious according to my guinea pig that will eat almost anything. I certainly enjoyed it as well!

20120723-225201.jpgCyrus and I handpicked the beautiful berry garnish of raspberries and strawberries at the orchards down the road yesterday.  Pictures of the orchards are soon to come.

    1. Even better tasting than that but kind of similar. It sure did not need any whipped cream on top though with all the cream (buttermilk and butter) baked in the cake.
