Eat in NOLA

Muriel’s serves “classic creole with old world elegance” and is located in the middle of all the action in Jackson Square.

We started with Pimm’s cup and a bottle wine.A delicious fried green tomato-arugula appetizer

We finally got up early enough to score a table at EAT also located in the French Quarter just a couple blocks away.  ~BYOB encouraged~
Anytime I saw fried green tomatoes on the menu, that is what I ordered–not many restaurants serve them back home.Stephen chose appropriately opting for the special, Kings Cake Pancakes with grits, eggs, and bacon.
