This BBQ sauce was de-licious at Hickory House Ribs! I slathered my veggie burger in this stuff and scarfed it all down. We stopped here for our first meal in Aspen at lunch time and was a terrific experience catching the tail end of the lunch specials with no crowd to fight for good service. The weather was even great for an al fresco dining experience to take in the fresh mountain air.
We stopped in Aspen Art Museum and went up top to have a cold drink and check out the view scoring some macarons and the most wonderful straws that looked like Aspen tree trunks!
We especially liked the cheeky signs lining the woven wooden walls on the outside of the building.Museum by night
You can probably guess what the other side says…
This coffee shop was packed giving the chain Ink Coffee shop just nearby some competition in the neighborhood. I checked out both and liked Victoria’s more chill atmosphere better. I gather Ink is more of a grab n go coffee experience.
Courtyard patio dining area of Hotel Jerome
Our final indulgence in Aspen was outstanding at Hotel Jerome, back in the courtyard for brunch where Friday night’s wedding party was held. Just take a look at that Bloody Mary complete with a blue cheese stuffed olive and a huge slice of smokey bacon! Not a single bite was left of my Huevos Rancheros.
