Mini fall pies and golfing in fall weather

These are two of my favorite things: baking and doing activities outside in crisp fall weather.  “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” -Great Gatsby

I used the same fillings as I used in my “Rustic Apple Pie” and my “Homemade Pumpkin Pop-tarts

I fell for the fresh donuts…up just before 6:30 am on a Saturday morning to play in the company golf tournament.  I completed “The Strokes”  on our 4 man scramble playing my part in scoring 6th place!  They even used a few of my drives and a putt or two.  I had the second longest drive out of the ladies that participated (although there were only about 4 other women, haha).
These were my favorite participants today.  These beautiful big stray pups found their way onto the course making the morning even more enjoyable.

After looking back at these photos, I thought I probably should have taken the cart and made a heart or some cool design for the groups behind us, as they were throwing marshmallows out on the fairway as practical jokes.

Ahh.. the art of the morning dew

My buddy Oscar who should’ve gone the professional golf route vs pro baseball

Pies look beautiful! Tournament looks fun. Glad you got the opportunity to play with them. Fall is indeed on its way in.
